Housing
The housing category contains a variety of datasets related to cattle presence and movement on a farm. These datasets provide insight into which animals are currently present on a holding or have been present in the past. Various events, including animal arrivals, departures, births, and deaths, can be retrieved. In addition, a current animal inventory is available, and the animal registration status can be used to retrieve the official status of an animal in the Identification & Registration (I&R) system.
This information can be used by applications such as dairy farm advisory systems, herd management software, cow monitoring systems, and milking robot platforms.
All messages within this category are based on the international ICAR ADE standard.

Arrivals
The arrivals message provides information on animals that have been brought onto the farm. Using the available filters, you can define the time period for which this data is retrieved.
What data is included?
For each arrival event, the following details are available:

- Animal ID (lifetime number)

- Animal details as specified in the Animals message
- Transport information

Animals
The animals message provides a current inventory of all animals present on the farm. It always returns the most up-to-date list of animals at the time the message is requested. Historical animal information should be retrieved through the other messages within the Housing category.
