That question lies at the heart of the documentary “World Without Cows”, which explores from various perspectives – from farmers and scientists to economists and policymakers – what that would mean for food security, sustainability, culture, and the economy.
Last Thursday, our colleague Corné attended a screening of this film, by invitation of Alltech (with thanks to Conan Condon). The documentary shows how deeply intertwined the role of the cow is with global food systems as well as with local communities.
It underscores how important it is to keep looking at complex issues from multiple angles and to keep the conversation about them open. Thanks to Alltech for the invitation and for making this valuable evening possible.
How much data does one plant actually produce?
Yesterday our colleagues Bobby and Pieter attended HortiContact 🌱.
There they had several interesting conversations about the role of data in the greenhouse horticulture sector. It is great to see how, in this sector as well, the need for secure, standardized, and controlled data exchange is becoming increasingly important.
Thanks to everyone we spoke with – it’s good to share insights and build new connections!
