Transferring an agricultural company involves many changes. Updates to Chamber of Commerce (KVK) and UBN registrations can also affect existing authorizations and data flows between livestock farmers, suppliers, and buyers. To better support all parties involved, JoinData is introducing the new Company Transfer Service.
With this service, farmers remain in control of their own data and the transition of authorizations during a company transfer. When JoinData receives a notification from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) regarding a change in a KVK–UBN registration, we proactively inform the relevant parties. If a company transfer is taking place, the farmer can then report this to JoinData.
The farmer decides whether existing authorizations and data flows should be transferred to the new situation. JoinData only processes a company transfer upon the farmer’s explicit request.
After processing, existing authorizations and data flows can be carefully transferred to the new Chamber of Commerce number, helping to ensure that data exchanges remain active as much as possible during the transition.
With this new service, we are taking another important step together toward more reliable and smoother data exchange within the agricultural supply chain.
