New collaboration between Stichting Open Bodemindex and JoinData!
We are proud to share that Open Bodemindex is now partnering with JoinData. Thanks to this collaboration, in addition to the data from Eurofins Agro, whose authorizations were recently digitized and are now available in the farmer’s Mijn JoinData environment, the results of soil analyses from other laboratories can now also be included in the OBI (Open Bodemindex) calculation. This means that even more farmers can now have their OBI score calculated.
Jan Arie Koorevaar, director of Open Bodemindex, explains that through JoinData, users can securely and easily manage their authorizations and share data from various laboratories with the foundation. This allows Open Bodemindex to offer more farmers and land users the opportunity to have their OBI score calculated through the platform. It is also an improvement that users of the OBI tool can now independently manage the authorization to share their soil analysis results, which they can modify or revoke at any time.
According to Bobby Lozeman, delivery manager at JoinData, transparency and control over data are essential for farmers. Thanks to this collaboration with Stichting Open Bodemindex, they can now safely manage their authorization to share data with the foundation. JoinData contributes to this by giving farmers insight and control over their authorizations and by ensuring that data exchange between laboratories and Stichting Open Bodemindex takes place securely.
